To improve the Judge.me reviews site, we focused on making it easier for users to find trusted products to help them make informed purchase decisions. We revamped the search results to show more relevant and helpful reviews faster. On shop pages, we updated the design to highlight important info like top reviewed products and verified customer reviews, helping people trust the shops by showing how transparent those shops are. For product pages, we reorganised things so users could quickly see key details like overall ratings and review sources, making it simpler for them to decide on a purchase and boosting sales for the shops.

The search results were not optimised, and the filtering options were limited, making it challenging for users to sift through large volumes of information to find what they were looking for. This lack of clarity and ease hindered the overall user experience and reduced trust.

To tackle these issues, we prioritised enhancing the search results and filtering options. We revamped the search functionality by improving the algorithm to prioritise relevance and helpfulness, ensuring that users saw the most trusted products first. Additionally, we expanded the filtering options, allowing users to refine their search by criteria such as category, rating, price, shop country and transparency levels.

By adding categories we empowered users to quickly find what they’re looking for by grouping products into specific categories, eliminating the frustration of sifting through countless reviews. This targeted approach helps users discover new items and brands that match their interests while keeping their browsing experience seamless and enjoyable.

The shop pages on the reviews site site were not effectively showcasing the credibility and quality of the businesses listed. Users often found it difficult to gauge a shop's overall trustworthiness at a glance, as important information like ratings and verified reviews were not prominently displayed.

To address these challenges, we redesigned the shop pages to enhance visibility and credibility. We created a cleaner, more engaging layout that prominently features the overall store rating, verified customer reviews, and top products. This redesign allows users to quickly assess the shop's reputation, helping to build trust right from the start. Additionally, we included clear calls to action, guiding users to explore products and read reviews, which improved the overall user experience and encouraged higher engagement and conversion rates for the businesses on the platform.

The product pages were cluttered and difficult for users to navigate. Key information, such as how many verified reviews were published by the shop, review sources, and extra information about the shop, was not easily accessible. This made it challenging for potential buyers to quickly assess the quality of a product and how trustworthy the shop is.

We rebuilt the product page layout to create a more user-friendly and intuitive experience. The redesign prioritised the display of key review metrics, including an overall rating distribution, detailed information about the shop and reviews, and contacts. We also streamlined the design, ensuring that important information was highlighted and easy to access at a glance.

Achievements

The new layout reduced page abandonment, increased time spent on the page, and contributed to higher conversion rates. Users reported a smoother experience in finding products, which boosted their confidence in the reviews site and contributed to the growth of searches on the website from around 340 a day to 2000 a day.
